Lost or Dying Love

When the heart shows no promise of repair
Must I sit here in despair
Wondering where love went wrong
Do I continue holding on

Should I let that ember of hope drift away
Or do I save it to rekindle that long lost flame
Do I love or do I hate
Do I accept or do I feel ashamed

The heart holds no bounds
but the memory of a lost or dying love is mostly gone
Do I finally move on or am I getting this all wrong
